HOW DO I SET UP MY TRSTD ACCOUNT?

Set up your TRSTD account by following these easy steps:

1. Sign up for TRSTD and verify your email using the code sent to your registered email address

2. Download the TRSTD App for iOS or Android

3. Enter the Authentication Code from the app to complete the activation process

Once you’ve completed the steps above, your account will be activated. Add a TRSTD Pass to your account to unlock bot-free drops from your favorite brands, artists & retailers.

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO GET A TRSTD ACCOUNT?

No. Signing up for TRSTD is free. There is no cost to create a TRSTD account.

IS MY CREDIT CARD REQUIRED TO SIGN UP?

No. A credit card is not required to sign up for a TRSTD account.

Once your account has been activated, you will be able to use your unique time-sensitive codes in the TRSTD app to unlock protected releases on merchant websites.

DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD TO USE TRSTD?

Signing up for and activating your TRSTD account is free. However, in order to enable secure purchases on merchant websites, a TRSTD Pass must first be added to your account to complete the account verification process.

A TRSTD Pass can be added at any time and requires a valid credit card or payment method matching the account holder’s information.

WHAT IS A TRSTD PASS & WHY DO I NEED ONE?

A TRSTD Pass is an important part of the multi-level authentication and security process used to ensure that only verified customers (real people) are granted access to a protected release.

In most cases, you will need to have an active TRSTD Pass on your account to enable the purchase process of protected products on a merchant’s website after completing the TRSTD verification process.

HOW DO I GET A TRSTD PASS?

You can add a TRSTD Pass any time after signing up for TRSTD and successfully activating your account. If you do not wish to add a TRSTD Pass immediately, you can do so later at any time by selecting the Active Passes option in your account profile.

If you are attempting to access a protected launch on merchant’s website, you may be prompted to add a TRSTD Pass to your account at that time.

HOW MUCH DOES A TRSTD PASS COST?

There is no cost for setting up your TRSTD account and using the app is free.

Adding a TRSTD Pass will require customers to authorize a nominal temporary charge of $2 USD using a valid credit card or other accepted payment method matching the account holder’s information.

The temporary authorization is used to validate the customer’s payment method as part of our multi-step verification process and will drop off automatically after a few days depending on your card provider.

The Fee is subject to change without notice. In all cases, the fee will be clearly indicated prior to the payment confirmation step.

WHEN IS THE CHARGE APPLIED?

You can add a TRSTD Pass any time after signing up for TRSTD and successfully activating your account. If you are attempting to access a protected release on merchant’s website, you may be prompted to add a TRSTD Pass to your account at that time if needed.

The temporary charge is authorized on the payment method provided at the time the TRSTD Pass is requested, prior to accessing the purchase process on the merchant website.

The temporary authorization is applied only if you have agreed to proceed. Before proceeding, you may be asked to confirm the product description and purchase details.  You may also be asked to agree to additional rules, terms and conditions, release details, and purchase instructions from the merchant.  You are free to abandon the process at any time. 

WHO CHARGES MY CREDIT CARD?

Temporary authorizations made by TRSTD will appear on your credit card statement as TRSTD.CA. In some cases, depending on your card provider, temporary authorizations may not be reflected or appear on your statement. Temporary authorizations will drop off automatically after a few days.

No product purchases are made from the TRSTD app. All products are purchased directly from the participating merchant and your card will be charged by the merchant accordingly.

TRSTD does not sell products and is not the merchant of record. TRSTD is strictly an authentication service and is not responsible for the fulfillment of products purchased from participating merchants

HOW DO I USE MY TRSTD PASS?

Your TRSTD Pass will come into play if you wish to access a protected release and make a purchase on a merchant's website. In this case, you will need to use one of your available TRSTD Passes after completing the TRSTD verification process. 

To access a protected release on a merchant’s website, tap the “Get TRSTD to Access” button and follow these steps:

1. Enter your email to start the authentication process

2. Enter the time-sensitive OTP code from the app when prompted

3. Click OK to use one of your available TRSTD Passes or add a TRSTD Pass at this time

4. Select the desired size and tap purchase to enter the queue

5. You will be directed back to the merchant’s site to complete the purchase within the time allotted *

   * Merchants may offer products on a “first-come-first-served” basis where quantities may be limited and/or subject to stock availability. Signing up for a TRSTD account and/or purchasing a TRSTD Pass does not guarantee that a product will be available at the time a user is accessing the release.

TRSTD does not sell products and no purchases made from the TRSTD App.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE MY TRSTD PASS?

Once activated, you can use your TRSTD Pass to access three (3) protected launches from any participating merchant.

After your TRSTD Pass has been used three times, it will need to be renewed. TRSTD Passes must be renewed to ensure that the most current security standards are being followed and that the authentication protocols used to verify users are regularly updated.  

To activate or renew your TRSTD Pass, select the Active Passes option in your account profile and follow the steps.

DOES A TRSTD PASS GUARANTEE THAT ALL MY PURCHASES WILL BE SUCCESSFUL?

TRSTD allows you to shop bot-free drops with the peace of mind that only verified users will get the opportunity to purchase the most sought-after limited-edition products offered by participating merchants.

Products may be offered on a “first-come-first-served” basis where quantities may be limited and/or subject to a merchant’s stock availability. Signing up for a TRSTD account and/or purchasing a TRSTD Pass does not guarantee that a product will be available at the time a user is accessing the release.

IS TRSTD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETAIL TRANSACTION?

No. TRSTD is strictly an authentication service and is not responsible for the fulfillment of any product purchased from participating merchants.

All products or services offered by a merchant via a Launch are purchased directly from the merchant, not from TRSTD. Retail transactions may be subject to a merchant’s event rules, shipping fees, sales taxes, return policies, and any other terms & conditions that may be applicable. TRSTD does not sell products and no purchases made from the TRSTD App.

Any questions, inquiries, or complaints regarding discrepancies or irregularities with the purchase should be addressed to the participating merchant directly.
